Planned phase: splashdown and recovery

Parachute descent, splashdown and recovery are part of the mission demonstration rather than an optional step after the main flight.

The capsule must be found and secured, with supporting systems helping it remain in the intended waterborne attitude. Indian Navy recovery preparations connect spacecraft design with operations at sea. Inspection of the returned article can then be compared with onboard measurements.
