Why contribute
Writing entries, drawing the engravings and building the interactive plates costs time and money — servers, licences for archive photography, and the authors' work. Your contribution lets us add more programmes, missions and hardware, and keeps advertising at the margins where it does not interrupt reading.
Spaceflightpedia is, for now, a one-person project. I push it forward as fast as I can, but doing it properly also takes money — servers, licences for archive photography, and the hours spent writing. Thank you for every contribution, however small.

Where contributions go
Every euro goes into the content.
01
Servers and running costs
Hosting, database, backups and the domain — so entries, images and interactive plates load fast, even on a phone.
02
Archive photo licences
Not every period photograph is free to use. Contributions pay for those licences so entries can show the best of the archives.
03
Time to write and verify
Every entry takes hours of finding sources, writing, drawing and checking facts against several independent sources.
A promise
And a promise on top: once contributions cover the running costs, the ads come off the site.
