NASA says leaders from the agency and Boeing will hold a news conference at 3 p.m. EDT on Monday, 28 September, to discuss how development of the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft is going.

The briefing will also cover plans to use Starliner for regular crew flights to and from the International Space Station. That would give NASA a second US crew transport system alongside SpaceX's Crew Dragon.

NASA will stream the event live on its website. Journalists already accredited for the Crew-13 mission can attend in person at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
