SpaceX is preparing a Falcon 9 rocket to launch USSF-385, a national security mission for the U.S. Space Force, from the U.S. West Coast. Spaceflight Now reports that the launch was scheduled for 7 a.m. PDT (10 a.m. EDT, 1400 UTC), at the start of a three-hour window.

The mission is classified, so officials have not said what the payload is or which orbit it is going to. It adds to the growing list of defense launches that SpaceX flies under Space Force contracts.

A launch window of several hours gives teams room to deal with weather or technical delays and still launch the same morning.
