Côte d’Ivoire has signed the Artemis Accords and is now the 75th country in the agreement, NASA announced. The signing ceremony took place on Thursday in Abidjan, the country's largest city.

By joining, Côte d’Ivoire agrees to the Accords' shared principles for civil space activity: exploring the Moon, Mars and more distant destinations peacefully, openly and responsibly.

NASA called the 75th signature a major milestone for the coalition, which keeps growing as more nations take part in the rules behind the Artemis era of exploration.
