The Artemis Accords, the set of principles for civil space exploration led by the United States, now have more than 75 signatories. NASA announced that four more countries have joined: Albania, Croatia, Côte d'Ivoire and San Marino, which raises the total to 76 nations.
Under the accords, signatories commit to shared norms for exploring the Moon and beyond. These include transparency, interoperability, releasing scientific data, providing emergency assistance and protecting heritage sites.
NASA described the latest additions as a sign of growing international support for peaceful and responsible behaviour in space. The agency also framed the expansion as proof that nations want a say in how future exploration is governed.
