NASA's SpaceX Crew-12 mission is over. According to NASA, the crew splashed down safely on Thursday in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Los Angeles after spending more than seven months on the International Space Station.

The crew will talk about the science work they did in orbit at a news conference at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. The briefing is set for Thursday, Oct. 15, at 3:30 p.m. EDT.

Crew-12 is part of NASA's Commercial Crew Program, which uses SpaceX Dragon spacecraft to rotate crews on the station. The mission's return adds to a growing number of Dragon landings in the Pacific, off the U.S. West Coast.
