# Reference geometry attribution

Command Module, Boost Protective Cover and Launch Escape System incorporate geometry from

Changes: converted source units (10 inches per Blender unit) to metres, positioned the assembly on the Saturn V, selected and regrouped components under atlas identifiers, simplified dense meshes and replaced legacy materials with web-compatible PBR materials. This is an educational adaptation, not an engineering-certified model. Unmapped source metadata is retained without fabricated replacement geometry.

## Rocket exterior and texture maps

Imported stage geometry, original UVs, A-MasterColour.jpeg and Grain1.png. Modified radial scale and stage placement, removed source presentation offsets and adapted material roughness. The grain map is also reused on the LM insulation material.

## Lunar module

Additional atlas changes: separate detail UVs for source grain roughness and bump, continuous connecting sleeves, joint collars and rivets. Six exterior assemblies are split into 24 display sectors for the exploded view; these are not historical manufacturing panel boundaries. Original colour UVs are retained.

Source describes an Apollo 13 LEM: cabin, descent body, antennas and engine geometry adapted as a visual starting point, not a mission-exact Eagle reconstruction. Scaled, regrouped, simplified and rematerialled, with articulated gear retained from the atlas.

Licences verified using the Sketchfab API on 2026-09-11. CMFDesign's supplied OBJ contains material colours but no UVs or image textures; it and the Smithsonian scan are not incorporated in this export.
